North Iowa downs Battle Creek, 3-0

Bryan Broders had two points to lead the North Iowa Bulls to a 3-0 victory over the Battle Creek Revolution.

North Iowa excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Bulls did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. North Iowa puts an average of 6.3 pucks into the net per game. The Bulls' defensive effort looked to be improved. North Iowa allows 2.3 goals per game. The Bulls kept Battle Creek's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jackson Steltmann made 45 saves on 48 shots.

North Iowa also got points from Jake Johnson, who also racked up one goal and one assist. North Iowa also got a goal from Brandon Anderson as well. In addition, North Iowa received assists from James Hughes, who had two and Bobby Chapman and Timothy Santopoalo, who contributed one a piece.

The Revolution were held below their usual level of production. Battle Creek averages 2.3 goals per game.

Jon Narverud made 20 saves for North Iowa on 20 shots. The Bulls incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Revolution incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with three minors. For Battle Creek, Austin Hill was ejected from the game.
