A hat trick by Damien Lona was the highlight in Steam's 4-2 win against the Breezy Point North Stars. Lona notched his first tally 14:27 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:35 into the second and at 15:10 into the second.The Queen City Steam stifled Breezy Point's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Queen City's offense rang up 43 shots on the North Stars' net. Queen City also got points from Trevor Knoll, who also registered one goal and two assists. Other players who recorded assists for Queen City were Timmy Weisgerber, who had one and Nick Brusa, who had three. Breezy Point's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Queen City power plays. The North Stars kept the Steam's goalie busy throughout the game, and Austin Coulson made 35 saves on 37 shots. Breezy Point was helped by Austin Williams, who had one goal. Williams scored 9:42 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Queen City. Crosby Steen provided the assist. Bo Borowski also scored for Breezy Point. In addition, Breezy Point received assists from Austin Cline and Kyle Eberwein, who contributed one a piece. Queen City incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Erikur Arnason made 39 saves for the North Stars on 43 shots. Breezy Point incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
