Farmingdale State downs Robert Morris University in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

The Farmingdale State Rams' Justin Von Wieding scored 5:00 into overtime to beat Robert Morris University, 5-4 (OT).

Farmingdale State overcame a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Rams trailed 4-1 after a goal by Robert Morris University's Roger Galey at 17:34 in the second period. Farmingdale State tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Kyle Catalano at 15:57 in the third period.

The Rams stifled Robert Morris University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Robert Morris University was unable to stop Farmingdale State from sending pucks towards the net, and the Rams eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. Farmingdale State's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. The Rams are averaging 1.9 goal against for the season.

Farmingdale State also got a goal from Jack Radin as well. In addition, Farmingdale State received assists from Scott Brennan and Matthew Johnson, who contributed one a piece.
