Alvernia College's Eric Pawlick had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 9-2 win over University of Richmond.

Pawlick got on the board by slotting home a goal 19:34 into the second period to make the score 9-1 Alvernia College. Jim McKelvie assisted on the tally. Pawlick dished an assist on McKelvie's goal that made the score 3-0 Alvernia College at 10:48 into the first period. He added another helper on Anthony Galeano's goal that made the score 5-0 Alvernia College at 14:45 into the first period.

Alvernia College forced University of Richmond's netminders to work between the pipes, racking up 33 shots and forcing 24 saves. Jack Merriman made five stops and Nate Sheman made 19. Alvernia College stifled University of Richmond's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. University of Richmond was led by Tucker Blanton, who finished with one goal and one assist. Blanton scored 9:06 into the second period to make the score 6-1 Alvernia College. Matt Burns picked up the assist. University of Richmond also got a goal from Aubry Dicks as well. In addition, University of Richmond received assists from John Danyluk and John Nickolas, who contributed one a piece.
