Defranco leads University at Albany over University Pittsburgh Johnstown, 7-4Warwick Ice Rink 2 Sat, Nov 17, 2012 Dave Defranco had two goals and one assist to lead the University at Albany Great Danes to a 7-4 victory over University Pittsburgh Johnstown. Defranco scored at 7:13 into the second period to make the score 5-2 University at Albany and again while 19:32 into the third to make the score 7-4 University at Albany.University at Albany pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 18 penalty minutes. The Great Danes outdid their season average for goals scored. This season, University at Albany averages 3.9 goals per contest. University at Albany additionally got points from Gavin Grogan, who also registered one goal and one assist. University at Albany also got a goal from Ryan Mahoney as well.
