Dallas Stars (MM) squeaks by Russell Stover (MM), 4-2

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Dallas Stars (MM) escaped with a 4-2 victory over Russell Stover (MM).

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Connor Chambers secured the win for Dallas Stars (MM) with a goal in the third period.

Drew Gannon had two goals to lead Dallas Stars (MM) to victory. Gannon scored at 8:10 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while 10:50 into the third to make the score 4-2 Dallas Stars (MM).

Russell Stover (MM) was unable to stop Dallas Stars (MM) from sending pucks towards the net, and Dallas Stars (MM) eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.

Dallas Stars (MM) also got points from Chambers, who also registered one goal and one assist and Cody Wickline, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for Dallas Stars (MM) came via JM Piotrowski, who had two and Caleb Thompson, Andrew Wyrrick, Austin Thielges, and Chad Guderian, who each chipped in one.

Russell Stover (MM) forced Dallas Stars (MM) goalie Jacob Nehama to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

Russell Stover (MM) was helped by Van Barr, who registered one goal. Barr scored 15:17 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Russell Stover (MM). Turner Palmer provided the assist. Russell Stover (MM) also got a goal from Miles Manson as well. In addition, Russell Stover (MM) received assists from Preston McConnell, who had one.
