Dallas Stars (MM) beats Las Vegas Storm (MM) 5-3 after comeback scare

Las Vegas Storm (MM) tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but Dallas Stars (MM) would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-3.

Dallas Stars (MM) took a 5-2 lead during the second period, only to have Las Vegas Storm (MM) storm back on a Parker Lewis goal 1:06 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Dallas Stars (MM)'s penalty kill excelled, as Dallas Stars (MM) gave up zero goals despite allowing nine power plays.

Dallas Stars (MM) stifled Las Vegas Storm (MM)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Dallas Stars (MM) forced Las Vegas Storm (MM) goalie Robert Anderson to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots. Dallas Stars (MM) could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game.

Dallas Stars (MM) was helped by Roger Roulette, who registered one goal. Roulette scored 7:35 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Dallas Stars (MM). Cody Wickline provided the assist. Dallas Stars (MM) also got points from Jack Loessberg, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Wickline, who also had one goal and one assist, and Blake Delisle, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Dallas Stars (MM) also got a goal from JM Piotrowski as well. Other players who recorded assists for Dallas Stars (MM) were Blake Gober, who had three and Drew Gannon, Connor Chambers, Andrew Wyrrick, and Chad Guderian, who each chipped in one.

Las Vegas Storm (MM) struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 18 penalty minutes for 10 opposing power plays.

Las Vegas Storm (MM) was led by Hoenshell Tommy, who finished with one goal and one assist. Tommy scored 1:24 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Las Vegas Storm (MM). Joey Debenedetto also scored for Las Vegas Storm (MM).

Jacob Nehama rejected 23 shots on goal for Dallas Stars (MM). Anderson recorded 26 saves for Las Vegas Storm (MM).
