Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) falls to Boston Advantage (MM) in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Boston Advantage (MM)'s Christian Heidelberger scored 1:30 into overtime to beat Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM), 3-2 (OT).

Boston Advantage (MM) pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

In a losing effort, Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) was sparked by Nathan Sucese, who finished with two goals. Sucese scored the first of his two goals at 14:39 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Sucese's next tally made the score 2-2 with 9:58 left in the third period. Ryan Kuhn assisted on the tally.

Boston Advantage (MM)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) power plays. Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) was unable to stop Boston Advantage (MM) from sending pucks towards the net, and Boston Advantage (MM) eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.

Boston Advantage (MM) also got points from Mike Fairbanks, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Zach Phelps also scored for Boston Advantage (MM). Other players who recorded assists for Boston Advantage (MM) were AUSTIN NAVARRO, who had two and Tyler Clegg, Cam Chelo, and Will Golden, who each chipped in one.

Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) forced Boston Advantage (MM) goalie Craig Pantano to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots. Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM)'s penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) finished with 18 penalty minutes.

Craig Pantano made 41 saves for Boston Advantage (MM) on 43 shots. Boston Advantage (MM) registered one goal on eight power play opportunities. Blaine Brock rejected 40 shots on goal for Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM).
