Washington Little Capitals (MM)'s Lynes deadly on offense in 4-1 win against Thunder AAA Hockey (MM)

Washington Little Capitals (MM) relied on the scoring touch of Zach Lynes, who netted two goals, to beat Thunder AAA Hockey (MM), 4-1.

Lynes scored on the power play at 5:20 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Washington Little Capitals (MM) and again while 12:38 into the third to make the score 3-1 Washington Little Capitals (MM).

Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) was stymied by Washington Little Capitals (MM) netminder Jacob Caffrey, who stopped 37 shots during the victory. Caffrey certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.72 entering the contest.

Washington Little Capitals (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) to score on any of its three power plays. Washington Little Capitals (MM)'s offense rang up 47 shots on Thunder AAA Hockey (MM)'s net.
