Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) wins tough contest against Las Vegas Storm (MM), 4-2

Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) and Las Vegas Storm (MM) were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) gained the winning advantage on a goal by Harry Sullivan 7:03 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) was led by Sullivan, who finished with one goal.

In a losing effort, Las Vegas Storm (MM) was sparked by Gage Quinney, who grabbed two goals. Quinney scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 13:32 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Las Vegas Storm (MM). Las Vegas Storm (MM) had gained a power play chance when Jason Lem was whistled for roughing. Hoenshell Tommy picked up the assist. Quinney's next tally on the power play made the score 2-2 with 14:31 left in the third period. CJ Stubbs assisted on the tally.

Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) forced Las Vegas Storm (MM) goalie Robert Anderson to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) has scored at the pace of 1.5 goal per game during the current campaign.

Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) also got points from Justin Stelzer, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) also got a goal from AJ Peckich as well. More assists for Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) came via John Bonno, Gabriel Chabot, and Troy Sutherland, who each chipped in one.

Other players who recorded assists for Las Vegas Storm (MM) were Wyatt Duehr, who had one.

Jackson Germaine rejected 21 shots on goal for Thunder AAA Hockey (MM). Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
