Sutter nets hat trick, leads Belle Tire (MM) to 9-1 win over Colorado Thunderbirds (MM)

Sly Sutter netted a hat trick to lead Belle Tire (MM) over Colorado Thunderbirds (MM), 9-1.

Sutter notched his first tally 13:31 into the first period. He then added goals at 4:17 into the second and at 16:39 into the second.

Colorado Thunderbirds (MM) trailed by one after the first period, but Belle Tire (MM) went into the second intermission with a 6-1 lead and never looked back.

Belle Tire (MM) pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 24 penalty minutes.

Belle Tire (MM) stifled Colorado Thunderbirds (MM)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Belle Tire (MM)'s goal total was higher than its season average. Belle Tire (MM) has scored at the pace of 4.5 goals per game during the current campaign.

Belle Tire (MM) additionally got points from Matheson Iacopelli, who also had three goals and one assist to lead the team in points, Dennis Yan, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Lucas Linville, who also registered one goal and two assists. Jasen Fernsler also scored for Belle Tire (MM). In addition, Belle Tire (MM) received assists from Luke Bennett, who had two and Tyler Baker, Zach Felser, Kyle Shreve, Forest Donovan, and Mike Maiden, who each chipped in one.
