Roe leads Glacier over Bozeman, 7-3

Glacier's Danny Roe had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing three assists in his team's 7-3 win over the Bozeman Icedogs.

Roe beat John Shavic with a shot 10:25 into the second period on the power play to make the score 4-2 Glacier. A slashing penalty on Jake Nelson had put Glacier on the power play. John Tesarek picked up the assist. Roe dished an assist on Tucker Spooner's goal that made the score 2-1 Bozeman at 14:06 into the first period. He then added assists on Spooner's goal at 10:49 into the second and on Jordan Carter's goal at 17:24 into the third.

Bozeman was doomed by its poor performance on special teams, as Glacier was able to score four times while on the power play.

Glacier's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Bozeman power plays. Glacier's offense rang up 66 shots on the Icedogs' net. Glacier surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Glacier has scored at the pace of 2.9 goals per game during the current campaign. Glacier was often in penalty trouble, as it ended with eight minors and one major for 31 minutes in penalty time. The defensemen of Glacier were also effective in Bozeman's zone, and came away with three goals.

Mark Williams also scored for Glacier. Other players who recorded assists for Glacier were Sebastian Adnell, who had two and Chris Cutshall and Travis Redman, who each chipped in one.

The Icedogs could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 36 minutes in penalties during the game.

Bozeman was helped by Steven Nisbet, who finished with one goal. Nisbet scored 7:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bozeman. Nelson assisted on the tally. Bozeman additionally got points from Jesse Game, who also registered one goal and one assist. Bozeman also got a goal from Jake Nicks as well. More assists for Bozeman came via Tyler Elson, Spencer Hallin, and Tristen Franzen, who contributed one a piece.

Tyler Huberty recorded 23 saves for Glacier. For Glacier, Redman was ejected from the game. John Shavic made 59 saves for the Icedogs on 66 shots.
