The Great Falls Americans had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 10-2 win over Glacier. Great Falls got the win with help from a great game by Daniil Kulikov, who had two goals and one assist. Kulikov scored the first of his two goals at 10:24 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Great Falls. Mikhal Kliment provided the assist. Kulikov's next tally made the score 2-0 Great Falls with 2:30 left in the first period. Glacier fell victim to a deadly the Americans power play, which ripped Glacier for five goals. Great Falls was often in penalty trouble, totaling 12 minors and one major for 39 minutes in penalty time. The Americans had been averaging 20.0 minutes in penalties per game. Glacier was unable to stop Great Falls from sending pucks towards the net, and the Americans eventually piled up 37 shots on goal. Great Falls surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Americans have scored at the pace of 3.0 goals per game during the current campaign. Great Falls' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. Great Falls also got points from Dylan Garton, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Doug Keller, who also had three goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Great Falls also got a goal from Craig Bufford as well. More assists for Great Falls came via Max Kaercher, Connor Mize, Robert Hubka, Erik Gatson, Lucas Stover, and Matt Douglas, who each chipped in one. Glacier forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up 19 minors and one major for 53 minutes in penalty time. Glacier surpassed its season average of 38.0 penalty minutes per game. Erik Powell made 28 saves for the Americans on 30 shots. Tyler Huberty recorded 27 saves for Glacier. Glacier registered one goal on eight power play opportunities. Glacier ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Jordan Carter was ejected from the game.
