Timm's big game bests Glacier in 5-2 Billings win

The Billings Bulls' Christopher Timm had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 5-2 win over Glacier.

Timm got on the board by slotting home a goal 10:13 into the first period to make the score 3-0 Billings. Jarrett Stark picked up the assist. Timm dished an assist on Stephen Thompson's goal that made the score 1-0 Billings at 7:08 into the first period. He added another helper on John Vant's goal that made the score 2-0 Billings at 8:30 into the first period.

Billings forced Glacier's netminders to work all game long, racking up 33 shots and forcing 28 saves. Tyler Huberty made 19 stops and Evan Jamar made nine. The Bulls stifled Glacier's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Billings also got points from Thompson, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Vant, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Billings also got a goal from Trey Robillard as well. In addition, Billings received assists from Adam Wikingsson and Alex Herman, who each chipped in one.

Glacier struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 35 penalty minutes for nine opposing power plays.

Glacier was helped by Danny Roe, who had one goal. Roe scored short handed 3:21 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Billings. A slashing call on Tanner Dodd put Glacier on the penalty kill. Adam Dalton provided the assist. Logan Hulse also scored for Glacier. More assists for Glacier came via Tucker Spooner and Austin Givens, who contributed one a piece.

Nic Wackerly recorded 17 saves for Billings. The Bulls ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. Glacier registered zero goals on three power play opportunities.
