Combs' goals lift St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) to 5-0 victory over Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM)

Behind a great game by Charles Combs, who had two goals, St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) defeated Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM), 5-0.

Combs found the back of the net 3:54 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) and again while 13:33 into the first to make the score 2-0 St. Louis AAA Blues (MM).

Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM)'s power play was ineffective against St. Louis AAA Blues (MM)'s penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) to score on any of its nine power plays.

St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) also got points from Chase Berger, who also had one goal and one assist and Alec Pellegrino, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) also got a goal from Jeff Makowski as well. Other players who recorded assists for St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) were Christian Hoffmeister, Mike Sieckhaus, Grant Frederic, Zack Bross, Bradely Johnson, Corey Quinn, William Scherer, and Alex Jasiek, who contributed one a piece.

Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on 14 St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) power plays. Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) puts an average of 2.9 pucks into the net per game.
