Colorado Rampage (MM) beats Boston Advantage (MM) 4-3 after comeback scare

Colorado Rampage (MM) survived a determined comeback attempt by Boston Advantage (MM) on the way to a 4-3 win.

A goal by Sam Krakauer put Colorado Rampage (MM) up 4-1 in the third period, but Boston Advantage (MM) pulled to within one on Zach Phelps' tally 13:28 into the third period.

Colorado Rampage (MM) stifled Boston Advantage (MM)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Colorado Rampage (MM)'s offense rang up 31 shots on Boston Advantage (MM)'s net.

Colorado Rampage (MM) was helped by Cameron Strong, who finished with one goal. Strong scored 1:10 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Colorado Rampage (MM). Logan Speelman assisted on the tally. Colorado Rampage (MM) additionally got points from Robert Salvato, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Colorado Rampage (MM) also got a goal from JJ (James Jr.) Huerena as well. Other players who recorded assists for Colorado Rampage (MM) were Max Ross, who had two and Brady Bender, Bradley Donakowski, and Scott Smoot, who each chipped in one.

Boston Advantage (MM) could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game.

Boston Advantage (MM) was helped by Joe Villari, who had one goal. Villari scored 8:35 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Colorado Rampage (MM). Bobby Hall provided the assist. Byron Carlisle also scored for Boston Advantage (MM). In addition, Boston Advantage (MM) received assists from Christian Heidelberger, Cam Chelo, Nate Indelicato, and Mike Fairbanks, who contributed one a piece.

Colorado Rampage (MM)'s Chase Horton stopped 25 shots out of the 28 that he faced. Colorado Rampage (MM) incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
