St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over Thunder AAA Hockey (MM). Alex Jasiek and Chase Berger provided the spark for St. Louis AAA Blues (MM), combining for two goals and four assists. Jasiek had one goal and three assists and Berger also notched one goal and one assist. St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) forced Thunder AAA Hockey (MM)'s goalies to work without much rest, finishing with 43 shots and forcing 38 saves. Jack Zuckerman made 13 stops and Jackson Germaine made 25. St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) also got points from Berger, who also registered one goal and one assist and Alec Pellegrino, who also racked up one goal and one assist. St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) also got a goal from Thomas Stahlhuth as well. Other players who recorded assists for St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) were Bradely Johnson, who had two and Christian Hoffmeister, Zack Bross, and Joe OBrien, who contributed one a piece. Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) to score on any of its four power plays. Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) was led by Troy Sutherland, who tallied two goals. Sutherland scored the first of his two goals at 14:40 into the first period to make the score 2-1 St. Louis AAA Blues (MM). Harry Sullivan provided the assist. Sutherland's next tally made the score 4-2 St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) with 6:33 left in the second period. Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) had taken the advantage when St. Louis AAA Blues (MM)'s Brendan Wilson got sent off for high sticking. Justin Stelzer picked up the assist. OBrien recorded 13 saves for St. Louis AAA Blues (MM). St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
