Behind a great game by Scott Smoot, who had one goal and three assists, Colorado Rampage (MM) defeated RM RoughRiders (MM), 4-1.

Smoot scored on the power play 12:53 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Colorado Rampage (MM). A roughing penalty on Brien Caseria had put Colorado Rampage (MM) on the power play. David Dziezawiec assisted on the tally. Smoot dished an assist on Max Ross' goal that made the score 1-0 Colorado Rampage (MM) at 10:21 into the second period. He then added assists on Jake Suter's goal at 11:39 into the second and on Suter's goal at 14:55 into the third.

Colorado Rampage (MM) made RM RoughRiders (MM)'s goaltenders to work in net, finishing with 44 shots and forcing 40 saves. Jonathan Loeffler made 26 stops and Jared Young made 14.

Colorado Rampage (MM) also got points from Suter, who also grabbed two goals and one assist and Ross, who also tallied one goal and one assist. In addition, Colorado Rampage (MM) received assists from JJ (James Jr.) Huerena, who had one.

RM RoughRiders (MM) was led by John Nitchen, who scored the team's only goal. Nitchen scored on the power play 10:56 into the second period to make the score 1-1. RM RoughRiders (MM) had gained a power play chance when Ryan Bochert was whistled for boarding. Jacob Bauer picked up the assist.

Jacob Weatherly made 21 saves for Colorado Rampage (MM) on 22 shots. Colorado Rampage (MM) incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. RM RoughRiders (MM) incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
