Colorado Rampage (MM) survived a determined comeback attempt by Russell Stover (MM) on the way to a 3-2 win. A goal by Jake Suter put Colorado Rampage (MM) up 2-0 in the second period, but Russell Stover (MM) pulled to within one on Evan Mills' tally 1:02 into the third period. Colorado Rampage (MM) was sparked by Robert Salvato, who had one goal and one assist. Salvato scored 14:46 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Colorado Rampage (MM). Logan Speelman assisted on the tally. Colorado Rampage (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Russell Stover (MM) to score on any of its three power plays. Jacob Gerson also scored for Colorado Rampage (MM). In addition, Colorado Rampage (MM) received assists from Anthony German and Bradley Donakowski, who each chipped in one. Russell Stover (MM) got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Russell Stover (MM) was helped by Garrett Becker, who racked up one goal. Becker scored 2:26 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Other players who recorded assists for Russell Stover (MM) were Landon Farrell and Preston McConnell, who contributed one a piece. Colorado Rampage (MM)'s Jacob Weatherly stopped 23 shots out of the 25 that he faced. Colorado Rampage (MM) incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors and had no power play opportunities. Frank Oplinger rejected 21 shots on goal for Russell Stover (MM).
