STONEY CREEK's Wallace deadly on offense in 6-0 win against SOUTHWEST

STONEY CREEK relied on the scoring touch of Caitlin Wallace, who netted two goals, to beat SOUTHWEST, 6-0.

Wallace scored at 1:16 into the second period to make the score 1-0 STONEY CREEK and again while 5:57 into the second to make the score 4-0 STONEY CREEK.

STONEY CREEK forced SOUTHWEST's netminders to work between the pipes, getting 48 shots and forcing 42 saves. Hanna Slater made 27 stops and Katrina Heyink made 15. STONEY CREEK excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. STONEY CREEK surpassed its usual scoring output this season. STONEY CREEK has scored at the pace of 3.0 goals per game during the current campaign.

STONEY CREEK additionally got points from Sydney McKibbon (C), who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for STONEY CREEK included Rosie Heffernan, who had one and Madison Field, who had two.
