TORONTO blows out BARRIE, 4-0

TORONTO had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-0 win over BARRIE.

TORONTO was led by Brooke Webster, who racked up one goal. Webster scored 1:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 TORONTO. Taylor Baker (PU) picked up the assist.

TORONTO kept BARRIE's goalie busy throughout the game, and Sarah Stephens made 28 saves on 32 shots.

TORONTO also got points from Morgan Sly, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. TORONTO also got a goal from Jordan McDonell as well. Other players who recorded assists for TORONTO were Rachel Bierbrier, who had two and Breanne Grant, Devon Moir, and Amanda Pantaleo, who contributed one a piece.

BARRIE managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. BARRIE ended up below its season average of 10.0 penalty minutes per game.

Maggie Prince made 16 saves for TORONTO on 16 shots. TORONTO incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. BARRIE registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
