BLUEWATER tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but AURORA would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3. AURORA made the score 4-2 on a goal by Brianna Veerman at 5:00 in the third period, and BLUEWATER got as close as 4-3 when Shailyn Waites scored 8:57 into the third period. Veerman had two goals to lead AURORA to victory. AURORA's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four BLUEWATER power plays. AURORA also got a goal from Alie Brindamour-McClure(A) as well. More assists for AURORA came via Caroline DeBruin(A), who had two and Courtney Brindamour-McClure(A), Ashley Rothon, Paula Voorheis, Lauren Cavarzan, and Shayla Hele, who each chipped in one. BLUEWATER's offense rang up 35 shots on AURORA's net. BLUEWATER additionally got points from Brooke Hartwick, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Emily Woodhouse, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points.
