WHITBY's Moore deadly on offense in 3-0 win against TORONTO

Alex Moore was all over the ice for WHITBY, as she tallied two goals in WHITBY's 3-0 win over TORONTO.

Moore scored at 7:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 WHITBY and again while 2:29 into the second to make the score 2-0 WHITBY.

Marissa Kozovski spearheaded the defensive effort for WHITBY, as she did not allow a puck past him and made 35 saves for the shutout. The solid play of Kozovski will be reflected in her goals against average, which pre-game was 2.14.

WHITBY excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Cassidy Vinkle also scored for WHITBY. Other players who recorded assists for WHITBY were Nicole Martindale, who had two and Kirsten Welsh, Krista Yip-Chuck, and Lauren Williams, who contributed one a piece.
