LONDON survives AURORA comeback, wins 3-2

LONDON survived a determined comeback attempt by AURORA on the way to a 3-2 win.

A goal by Kyla Crouse put LONDON up 3-1 in the third period, but AURORA pulled to within one on Jessica Gillham's tally 14:43 into the third period.

Crouse was all over the ice for LONDON, as she had two goals in the win.

LONDON also got a goal from Tia Kipfer as well. More assists for LONDON came via Brittany Howard, who had two and Paige Horton, Clare McKellar, and Clare Sabine, who each chipped in one.

LONDON was unable to stop AURORA from sending pucks towards the net, and AURORA eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

AURORA was helped by Christina Ieradi, who registered one goal. Ieradi scored 3:56 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Jacky Normandeau assisted on the tally. Other players who recorded assists for AURORA were Caroline DeBruin(A), Courtney Brindamour-McClure(A), and Lisa Donachey, who contributed one a piece.

Jessica Dodds recorded 29 saves for LONDON. LONDON incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Paula Voorheis made 22 saves for AURORA on 25 shots. AURORA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
