Huge game by Jardine boosts AURORA over BRAMPTON, 6-3

Kayla Jardine was all over the ice for AURORA, as she tallied one goal and two assists in AURORA's 6-3 win over BRAMPTON.

Jardine beat Brooke Stoddart with a shot 5:46 into the second period to make the score 3-1 AURORA. Hunter Ellis picked up the assist. Jardine dished an assist on Ashley Rothon's goal that made the score 4-1 AURORA at 10:12 into the second period. He added another helper on Lisa Donachey's goal that made the score 5-1 AURORA at 13:50 into the second period.

AURORA surpassed its usual scoring output this season. AURORA averages 3.2 goals per game.

Claudia Black also scored for AURORA. In addition, AURORA received assists from Alie Brindamour-McClure(A), who had two and Jacky Normandeau, Courtney Brindamour-McClure(A), Jessica Gillham, and Lauren Cavarzan, who contributed one a piece.

BRAMPTON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

BRAMPTON was helped by Irene Kiroplis, who had one goal. Kiroplis scored 11:30 into the third period to make the score 5-3 AURORA. Caitlyn Manning provided the assist. BRAMPTON also got points from Isabella Triolo (pu), who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. BRAMPTON also got a goal from Alessia Pasquariello as well. Other players who recorded assists for BRAMPTON were Laura Magliocchi and Shelby Dunn, who each chipped in one.

AURORA took out Taylor Lemmon after she had made eight saves and installed Paula Voorheis in goal, where she finished with nine saves and the win. AURORA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. BRAMPTON's starting goalie, Brooke Stoddart, made eight saves and finished with the loss before she was taken out in favor of Hanna Mandl, who stopped 15 shots. BRAMPTON totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. For BRAMPTON, Candace Seguin was ejected from the game.
