TORONTO gutted out a close 4-2 win against KINGSTON. TORONTO gained the winning advantage on a goal by Amanda Pantaleo 13:17 into the second period and hung on until final buzzer. Morgan Sly had two goals to lead TORONTO to victory. Sly's tallies came at 12:13 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and 19:44 into the third to make the score 4-2 TORONTO. TORONTO kept KINGSTON's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jensen Murphy made 30 saves on 34 shots. Brooke Webster also scored for TORONTO. More assists for TORONTO came via Jordan McDonell, Breanne Wilson-Bennett, Devon Moir, and Emma Korbs, who contributed one a piece. KINGSTON was helped by Alysha Burriss, who tallied one goal. Burriss scored 18:55 into the third period to make the score 3-2 TORONTO. Megan MacLeod provided the assist. KINGSTON also got a goal from Brenna Murphy as well. Other players who recorded assists for KINGSTON were Christi McKinney and Amy Mountenay (C), who each chipped in one. Maggie Prince rejected 14 shots on goal for TORONTO. TORONTO totaled 21 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. TORONTO ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Jessica Gazzola was ejected from the game. KINGSTON incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
