ETOBICOKE and LEASIDE were evenly matched throughout their contest, but ETOBICOKE made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Stacy Joe at 13:51 of the third period.

ETOBICOKE kept LEASIDE's goalie busy throughout the game, and Alex Armstrong made 27 saves on 31 shots.

ETOBICOKE was led by Mackenzie Johnston, who grabbed two goals. Johnston scored the first of her two goals at 1:26 into the second period to make the score 1-0 ETOBICOKE. Shana Walker assisted on the tally. Johnston's next tally made the score 4-2 ETOBICOKE with 5:11 left in the third period. Cara Sayles provided the assist. Jennifer Thompson also scored for ETOBICOKE. LEASIDE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three ETOBICOKE power plays.

LEASIDE was led by Megan Sullivan, who had two goals. Sullivan scored the first of her two goals at 6:55 into the third period to make the score 2-1 ETOBICOKE. Kaitlin Lowy picked up the assist. Sullivan's next tally made the score 2-2 with 9:59 left in the third period. Katrina Manoukarakis provided the assist. In addition, LEASIDE received assists from Kristen Lucas and Anthea Lasis, who contributed one a piece.
