Victoria Bach had two goals and one assist to lead MISSISSAUGA to a 5-1 victory over WHITBY.

Bach's tallies came at 23 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-0 MISSISSAUGA and 5:40 into the second to make the score 4-1 MISSISSAUGA.

MISSISSAUGA was led by goalie Alysia DaSilva, who finished with 33 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of DaSilva will be reflected in her goals against average, which pre-game was 1.99.

MISSISSAUGA excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

MISSISSAUGA also got a goal from Hilary Lloyd as well. Other players who recorded assists for MISSISSAUGA were Kelly Mariani, who had three and Nadine Edney, Mikaela Lowater, Stephanie Sucharda, and Kristyn Capizzano, who contributed one a piece.

WHITBY stifled MISSISSAUGA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. WHITBY did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. WHITBY averages 4.3 goals per game. MISSISSAUGA was unable to stop WHITBY from sending pucks towards the net, and WHITBY eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. WHITBY's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. WHITBY averages 1.8 goal allowed per game.

WHITBY was led by Cassidy Vinkle, who scored the team's only goal. Vinkle scored 1:12 into the second period to make the score 2-1 MISSISSAUGA. Nicole Martindale picked up the assist.

MISSISSAUGA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Marissa Kozovski took the loss and made seven saves before being replaced by Hannah Baker who made nine saves. WHITBY incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
