Bland nets hat trick, leads Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM) to 7-1 win over Madison Capitols (MM)

Aaron Bland netted a hat trick to lead Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM) over Madison Capitols (MM), 7-1.

Bland's first goal came 6:41 into the second period. He then added goals at 17:46 into the second and at 3:47 into the third.

The game was close after the first frame, but Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM) banged in three goals during the second period to put the victory out of reach for Madison Capitols (MM).

Madison Capitols (MM) was stymied by Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM) netminder Josh Erickson, who stopped 26 shots during the victory. Erickson managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 4.12 prior to the game.
