Las Vegas Storm (MM) downs Chicago Fury (MM) in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Las Vegas Storm (MM) pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over Chicago Fury (MM) on a clutch goal by Gage Quinney.

Quinney had two goals and one assist to lead Las Vegas Storm (MM). Quinney scored the first of his two goals at 17:04 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Quinney's next tally made the score 4-3 Las Vegas Storm (MM) with 18:07 left in overtime.

Chicago Fury (MM)'s power play was ineffective against Las Vegas Storm (MM)'s penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Las Vegas Storm (MM) stifled Chicago Fury (MM)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Las Vegas Storm (MM) found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Las Vegas Storm (MM) has scored at the pace of 1.7 goal per game during the current campaign. Las Vegas Storm (MM) found itself short handed often, totaling 16 penalty minutes and allowing seven power plays.

CJ Stubbs also scored for Las Vegas Storm (MM).

Chicago Fury (MM) kept Las Vegas Storm (MM)'s goalie busy throughout the game, and Robert Anderson made 35 saves on 38 shots. Chicago Fury (MM) excelled on the penalty kill, only allowing Las Vegas Storm (MM) to get one power play goal on 12 chances. Chicago Fury (MM) could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

Chicago Fury (MM) was led by Joey DeLuca, who grabbed two goals. DeLuca scored the first of his two goals at 1:25 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Chicago Fury (MM).
