Fortin found the back of the net on the power play 19:46 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Sainte-Foy and again while 19:59 into the first to make the score 2-0 Sainte-Foy.

Sainte-Foy capitalized on East Coast Eagles' penalties, netting three goals while skating with a man advantage.
