McKenna's big game bests East Coast Eagles in 7-2 New Hampshire Jr Monarchs win

The New Hampshire Jr Monarchs Monarchs' Steve McKenna had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 7-2 win over East Coast Eagles.

McKenna scored on the power play at 10:18 into the second period to make the score 6-1 New Hampshire Jr Monarchs and again while 19:36 into the second to make the score 7-2 New Hampshire Jr Monarchs.

East Coast Eagles was unable to stop New Hampshire Jr Monarchs from sending pucks towards the net, and the Monarchs eventually piled up 42 shots on goal. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs did not rack up many penalties in the contest, racking up just one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

New Hampshire Jr Monarchs additionally got points from Tyler Bishop, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Alex Holland, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Ryan Ferrell, who also had one goal and one assist. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs also got a goal from Joey Yeadon as well. More assists for New Hampshire Jr Monarchs came via Corey Wisnowski, Jeremy Marginsky, and Anton Lindstrom, who each chipped in one and Nick Bingaman and Evan Schultz, who contributed two a piece.

David Jacobson rejected 24 shots on goal for the Monarchs. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Bryan Canter recorded 35 saves for East Coast Eagles. East Coast Eagles incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
