NE Wolves downs Tampa Juniors, 4-1

Sam Kent had one point to lead NE Wolves to a 4-1 victory over Tampa Juniors.

NE Wolves forced Tampa Juniors goalie Nicholas Malvin to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

NE Wolves also got points from Nick Wirth, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Collin Bourque, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Kendall Culbertson also scored for NE Wolves. More assists for NE Wolves came via Riley Flanagan, Andrew Nelson, Kris Holmes, and Jake Cabana, who contributed one a piece.

Tampa Juniors' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three NE Wolves power plays. Tampa Juniors could not produce up to it normal offensive output. Tampa Juniors averages 3.3 goals per game. Tampa Juniors did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting one shot on net to force zero saves.

Tampa Juniors was led by Logan Garst, who scored the team's only goal. Garst scored on the power play 15:10 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Tampa Juniors earned a power play opportunity when Will Humfryes was put in the box for elbowing. Jared Goudreau assisted on the tally.

NE Wolves incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tampa Juniors incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
