Huge game by Dudas boosts Bloomington over Arizona, 6-3

Jesse Dudas was all over the ice for the Bloomington Blaze, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Bloomington's 6-3 win over the Arizona Sundogs.

Dudas scored at 5:27 into the second period to make the score 4-0 Bloomington and again while 16:30 into the third to make the score 6-3 Bloomington.

The Blaze's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Arizona power plays. Bloomington surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Blaze have scored at the pace of 3.9 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with four goals. The 34 shots that Bloomington put on net surpassed the Blaze's average of 28.5 shots per game this season.

Bloomington additionally got points from Steve Makway, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Sebastien Trudeau, who also had one goal and three assists to lead the team in points, and Ryan Palmer, who also finished with one goal and one assist. David Gilbert also scored for Bloomington. In addition, Bloomington received assists from Tysen Dowzak, Aaron Dawson, Travis Granbois, Dan Barczuk, Jon Booras, and Jay Barriball, who each chipped in one.

Arizona relied on a core group of players for most of its offense, as Chad Nehring, Ron Meyers and Derek LeBlanc took 17 of the team's 31 shots.

Arizona also got a goal from Jason Morgan as well. Other players who recorded assists for Arizona were Matt Register, Karl Linden, and Chad Langlais, who contributed one a piece.

Pier-Olivier Pelletier made 28 saves for Bloomington on 31 shots. The Blaze incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. David Brown took the loss and made 14 saves before being replaced by Adam Russo who made 14 saves. The Sundogs incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
