Granbois leads Bloomington over Tulsa, 5-2

Travis Granbois was all over the ice for the Bloomington Blaze, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Bloomington's 5-2 win over the Tulsa Oilers.

Granbois' tallies came at 10:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bloomington and 18:57 into the third to make the score 5-2 Bloomington.

The Blaze kept Tulsa's goalie busy throughout the game, and Ian Keserich made 30 saves on 35 shots.

Bloomington additionally got points from Sebastien Trudeau, who also had one goal and one assist and Nicklas Lindberg, who also registered one goal and one assist. Tyler Gron also scored for Bloomington. More assists for Bloomington came via Steve Makway, Aaron Dawson, Kyle Bochek, Michael Trebish, Jon Booras, and David Gilbert, who contributed one a piece.

The Oilers' defensemen bolstered Tulsa's offensive attack, as they bombarded Dan Dunn with 15 shots. The Oilers' offense was clicking better than usual and put 37 shots on goal during the game, better than the 25.8 shots per game they average.

Tulsa was helped by Gary Steffes, who finished with one goal. Steffes scored 16:08 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Bloomington. David Beauregard picked up the assist. Tulsa also got a goal from Ryan Cramer as well. Other players who recorded assists for Tulsa were Jake Trask, Matt Gingera, and Michel Beausoleil, who each chipped in one.

Dan Dunn made 35 saves for Bloomington on 37 shots. The Blaze totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. The Oilers totaled 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors and two majors and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
