Boston Advantage (MM) squeaks by Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM), 5-3

Boston Advantage (MM) and Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM) were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Boston Advantage (MM) made the most of its opportunities and won, 5-3.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Christian Schurmann-Colicchio secured the win for Boston Advantage (MM) with a goal in the second period.

Boston Advantage (MM) was paced by Schurmann-Colicchio, who racked up one goal. Schurmann-Colicchio scored 5:01 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Boston Advantage (MM). Tyler Clegg provided the assist.

In a losing effort, Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM) was led by Aaron Bland, who tallied two goals. Bland scored the first of his two goals short handed at 14 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM). Caleb Pola assisted on the tally. Bland's next tally short handed made the score 2-2 with 13:59 left in the first period.

Boston Advantage (MM) got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Cam Chelo also scored for Boston Advantage (MM). More assists for Boston Advantage (MM) came via Will Golden, who had two, Nick Dotolo, who had three, and Bobby Hall, Christian Heidelberger, and Zach Phelps, who each chipped in one.

Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM) kept Boston Advantage (MM)'s goalie busy throughout the game, and BILL PALMER made 29 saves on 32 shots.

Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM) also got a goal from Wes Fry as well. Other players who recorded assists for Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM) were Clay Cross, who had one.

Boston Advantage (MM) finished the contest with no penalties and went 1-for-0 with the man advantage. Andrew Shortridge recorded 21 saves for Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM). Phoenix Jr Coyotes (MM) ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
