Beaulieu leads Port Stanley over Mt.Brydges, 10-4

Tyler Beaulieu was all over the ice for the Port Stanley Sailors, as he tallied four goals and two assists in Port Stanley's 10-4 win over the Mt.Brydges Bulldogs.

Beaulieu notched his first tally 5:07 into the first period. He then added goals at 10:32 into the second, at 2:01 into the third, and at 15:52 into the third.

The Sailors kept Mt.Brydges' goalie busy throughout the game, and Alexander Markowski made 35 saves on 45 shots. Port Stanley's goal total was higher than its season average. The Sailors average 4.4 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Port Stanley additionally got points from Graham Silcox, who also registered one goal and one assist, Luke McGuire, who also racked up one goal and three assists, and Josh Tremblay, who also tallied one goal and three assists. Others who scored for Port Stanley included Andrew Yurek, who had one and Zach Zinga, who had two. In addition, Port Stanley received assists from Austin Blais and Mark Brisson, who contributed one a piece and Mark Fraser and Andrew Fenn, who each chipped in two.

The Bulldogs were helped by Matt Dacosta, who had one goal. Dacosta scored 11:27 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Port Stanley. David Wade picked up the assist. Mt.Brydges also had goals scored by Robert McTaggart, who had one and Grant Johns, who had two. Other players who recorded assists for Mt.Brydges were Ryan Battersby, who had two and Tyler Lockwood, Mike Frizzell, and Cole Chilvers, who contributed one a piece.

Port Stanley's Ricky Corkum stopped 24 shots out of the 28 that he faced. The Sailors incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Mt.Brydges incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
