The Ayr Centennials' Andrew Richard scored 51 seconds into overtime to beat the Burford Bulldogs, 5-4 (OT).

Adam Fisher had two goals and one assist to lead Ayr. Fisher scored the first of his two goals at 4:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Ayr. Alex Mutton picked up the assist. Fisher's next tally made the score 4-4 with 7:17 left in the third period. The Centennials had gained a power play chance when Jamie Snow was whistled for bench / coach. Mike Wilkins assisted on the tally.

Ayr kept Burford's goalie busy throughout the game, and Don Davis made 34 saves on 39 shots.

Ayr also got a goal from Declan Kaster as well. Other players who recorded assists for Ayr were Dustin Scheer, Ben Poort, Jordan Eby, Brandon Christopher, and Alex Richard, who each chipped in one.

The Bulldogs were led by Tyler Vandenbussche, who racked up two goals and two assists. Vandenbussche scored the first of his two goals at 9:42 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Snow picked up the assist. Vandenbussche's next tally made the score 3-2 Ayr with 1:47 left in the first period. A slashing penalty on Jimmy Roy had put Burford on the power play. Tyler MacLaughlin assisted on the tally. Pat Bates also scored for Burford.

Lee Doherty recorded 18 saves for the Centennials. Ayr incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Bulldogs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
