Lambeth blows out Mt.Brydges, 4-1

The Lambeth Lancers were firing on all cylinders against the Mt.Brydges Bulldogs, and when the final buzzer sounded Lancers emerged with a 4-1 win.

Mitch Furlonger was all over the ice for Lambeth, as he racked up two goals in the win. Furlonger found the back of the net on the power play 16:57 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Lambeth and again while 19:19 into the third to make the score 4-1 Lambeth.

The Lancers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Mt.Brydges power plays. Mt.Brydges was unable to stop Lambeth from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lancers eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.

Lambeth also got points from Tanner Smith, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Lambeth also got a goal from Conor Chilvers as well. In addition, Lambeth received assists from Josh Bumpus, Kale Corbeth, Greg Douglas, and Justin Clark, who contributed one a piece.

The Bulldogs did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Mt.Brydges averages 3.3 goals per game. The Bulldogs' offense rang up 32 shots on Lambeth's net.

Mt.Brydges was led by Tony Lindner, who scored the team's only goal. Lindner scored 13:49 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Lambeth. Sean Candler assisted on the tally.

Logan Ferrington made 31 saves for the Lancers on 32 shots. Lambeth incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Bulldogs' Eric Steinman stopped 37 shots out of the 40 that he faced. Mt.Brydges incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
