The Ayr Centennials were firing on all cylinders against the Delhi Travellers, and when the final buzzer sounded Centennials emerged with a 9-2 win. Andrew Richard had two goals and two assists to lead Ayr. Richard scored the first of his two goals at 14:02 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Ayr. Dustin Scheer picked up the assist. Richard's next tally made the score 8-2 Ayr with 12:12 left in the third period. Alex Richard provided the assist. The Centennials forced Delhi's netminders to work all game long, totaling 45 shots and forcing 36 saves. Nick Heath made 22 stops and Joe Drexler made 14. Ayr also got points from Jordan Eby, who also registered two goals and three assists to lead the team in points, Declan Kaster, who also had one goal and one assist, Alex Mutton, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Nathan Redford, who also had two goals and one assist. Ayr also got a goal from Ben Poort as well. More assists for Ayr came via Alex Bogojevski, who had three and Zack Taylor and Brady Wheelans, who contributed one a piece. The Travellers could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Delhi puts an average of 4.4 pucks into the net per game. The Travellers were led by Justin Plant, who grabbed one goal. Plant scored 1:22 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Ayr. Kelsey Vanyermen picked up the assist. Travis Harper also scored for Delhi. In addition, Delhi received assists from Josh Bradshaw and Cody Stout, who each chipped in one. The Centennials' Mitch Figueirdo stopped 17 shots out of the 19 that he faced. Ayr incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Delhi incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
