The Mt.Brydges Bulldogs could not stop the Dorchester Dolphins' Chad Brulotte, who tallied a hat trick in a 5-1 win.

Brulotte's first goal came 7:20 into the second period. He then added goals at 4:12 into the third and at 11:51 into the third.

Dorchester pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 20 penalty minutes.

The Dolphins kept Mt.Brydges' goalie busy throughout the game, and Eric Steinman made 34 saves on 39 shots.

Dorchester additionally got points from Shayne Rhyno, who also registered one goal and one assist. Brendon O Shaughnessy also scored for Dorchester. In addition, Dorchester received assists from Connor Lovell, who had three and Matt Johnson, Chris Buckholz, Tyler Vere, Liam Gillooly, and Brett Dzyngel, who contributed one a piece.

The Bulldogs' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Dorchester power plays. Mt.Brydges' offense operated below it season average. The Bulldogs put an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game. Dorchester's defense shut down Mt.Brydges' forwards for much of the game, and the Bulldogs got off only 12 shots during the contest.

Mt.Brydges was led by Grant Johns, who scored the team's only goal. Johns scored on the power play 8:26 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Dorchester. The Bulldogs had taken the advantage when the Dolphins' Patrick Freel got sent off for charging. Matt Dacosta provided the assist.

Patrick Maziarz recorded 11 saves for Dorchester. Mt.Brydges incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
