Mt.Brydges falls to Lambeth in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Lambeth Lancers' Mitch Furlonger scored 1:32 into overtime to beat the Mt.Brydges Bulldogs, 4-3 (OT).

Lambeth was led by Furlonger, who tallied one goal.

The Lancers kept Mt.Brydges' goalie busy throughout the game, and Eric Steinman made 47 saves on 51 shots.

Lambeth also got points from Carter Allen, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Lambeth also got a goal from Warren Hargraves as well. More assists for Lambeth came via Riley Gilmore, who had two and Nick West, Nick North, and Mike Golinowski, who contributed one a piece.

The Bulldogs stifled Lambeth's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Lancers were unable to stop Mt.Brydges from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bulldogs eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.

Mt.Brydges was helped by Ryan Battersby, who had one goal. Battersby scored on the power play 11:05 into the first period to make the score 1-1. The Bulldogs had taken the advantage when Lambeth's Gilmore got sent off for hooking. Connor Dunn assisted on the tally. Sean Candler also scored for Mt.Brydges. Other players who recorded assists for Mt.Brydges were Tyler Lockwood, Grant Johns, and David Wade, who each chipped in one.

The Lancers' JP Trudell stopped 34 shots out of the 37 that he faced. Lambeth incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Mt.Brydges incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
