Tavistock beats Norfolk 10-0 as Parker gains shutout

Tim Parker made 38 saves to complete the shutout and led the Tavistock Braves to a 10-0 win against the Norfolk Rebels.

Deven Kropf had a great game for Tavistock, netting two goals. Kropf scored at zero seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Tavistock and again while 5:37 into the second to make the score 4-0 Tavistock.

The Braves' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Norfolk power plays. Norfolk was unable to stop Tavistock from sending pucks towards the net, and the Braves eventually piled up 62 shots on goal. Tavistock surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Braves average 3.5 goals per game.

Tavistock additionally got points from Charlie Malson, who also finished with two goals and one assist, Mac Kalbfleisch, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Mack Gingerich, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Andrew Schacht, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Jake Mock, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Tavistock also got a goal from Dylan Yantzi as well. In addition, Tavistock received assists from Tristan Hohl, who had one and Jordan Ritsma, James McCorquodale, and Curtis Dotzert, who contributed two a piece.

The Rebels' offense rang up 38 shots on Tavistock's net. Norfolk could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 64 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Braves incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Jason Miller made 52 saves for the Rebels on 62 shots.
