Aylmer falls to Lambeth in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

Ryan Pennington gave the Lambeth Lancers a 5-4 (OT) victory over Aylmer when he scored 2:30 into the extra period.

With three goals and two assists between them, Nick North and Pennington teamed up to power Lambeth's offense. North racked up two goals and one assist and Pennington also notched one goal and one assist.

The Lancers' offense rang up 39 shots on Aylmer's net. Team could not crack Aylmer's penalty kill and was held to two power play goals while having nine opportunities to play with the man advantage.

Lambeth additionally got points from Nick West, who also grabbed one goal and two assists and Pennington, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Lambeth also got a goal from Brandon Robbins as well. In addition, Lambeth received assists from Mitch Furlonger, who had two and Josh Bumpus, Kale Corbeth, and Chandler Allen, who each chipped in one.

Aylmer kept Lambeth's goalie busy throughout the game, and Logan Ferrington made 37 saves on 41 shots.

Aylmer was led by Clint Walker, who had two goals. Walker scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 6:56 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Lambeth. Aylmer had taken the advantage when the Lancers' Bumpus got sent off for slashing. Cody Underhill assisted on the tally. Walker's next tally on the power play made the score 3-2 Lambeth with 9:39 left in the second period. Aylmer had gained a power play chance when Bumpus was whistled for slashing. Eric Nemeth picked up the assist. Aylmer also got points from Scott Walker, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Todd Laurindo also scored for Aylmer. Other players who recorded assists for Aylmer were Brad Payne, who had one.

Lambeth incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with 12 minors. Team's Corbeth and Robbins were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. Dan Black recorded 34 saves for Aylmer. Aylmer incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
