Glanbrook rips Delhi, 7-2

Glanbrook had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-2 win over the Delhi Travellers.

Brett Ducharme was a peerless playmaker for Glanbrook, as he dished out three to beat Delhi,.

The Travellers' Alex Stephens could not handle what Glanbrook threw at him, as Glanbrook netted its goals off of seven.

Glanbrook's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Glanbrook also got points from Drew Jedrzejewicz, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Justin Denobriga, who also registered one goal and one assist, Jake Kelly, who also had one goal and one assist, and Anthony Whitwell, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Alexander Cappelletti also scored for Glanbrook. In addition, Glanbrook received assists from Curtis Edwards, who had two and Jake Hill, Nicolas Kuiper, Brandon Elliot, and Matt Sagrott, who each chipped in one.

Delhi did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Travellers average 4.8 goals per game.

Delhi was led by Brad Hornby, who finished with one goal and one assist. Hornby scored on the power play 17:58 into the third period to make the score 6-2 Glanbrook. The Travellers had gained a power play chance when Lukas Rimac was whistled for roughing. Jeremy Jacobs picked up the assist. Delhi also got a goal from Jordan Belanger as well. Other players who recorded assists for Delhi were Brad Ward and Colin VanDale, who contributed one a piece.

Glanbrook incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Delhi incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
