The Wheatley Sharks' Sebastian Kanally had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-2 win over the Belle River Canadiens.

Kanally scored at 36 seconds into the second period to make the score 3-1 Wheatley and again while 7:07 into the third to make the score 4-3 Wheatley.

Wheatley excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Wheatley additionally got points from Riley Babkirk, who also had one goal and one assist. Wheatley also got a goal from Kyle Quick as well. Other players who recorded assists for Wheatley were Kurtis Ouellette, Brett Babkirk, Mike Reid, Eric Rivard, and Luke Gagnon, who each chipped in one.

The Sharks' Marc Tremblay stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that he faced. Wheatley incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Zakk Olvin rejected 22 shots on goal for Belle River. The Canadiens incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
