Babkirk's hat trick boosts Wheatley over Kingsville, 7-2Kingsville Arena Sat, Dec 22, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
Riley Babkirk lifted the Wheatley Sharks to a 7-2 victory with a hat trick against the Kingsville Comets. Babkirk got on the scoresheet 15:13 into the second period. He then added goals at 1:48 into the third and at 17:35 into the third.Wheatley's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Kingsville power plays. The Sharks forced Kingsville goalie Lane Parent to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots. Wheatley surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Sharks average 3.5 goals per game. Wheatley additionally got points from Sebastian Kanally, who also had one goal and one assist and Jon Woelk, who also finished with two goals and one assist. Craig Adamson also scored for Wheatley.
