Schroeter quarterbacks Mooretown to 4-1 triumph against BlenheimBlenheim Memorial Arena Sun, Dec 02, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Mooretown Flags' offense was sparked by Jeff Schroeter, as he ended with four assists in a 4-1 victory against the Blenheim Blades. Blenheim was unable to stop Mooretown from sending pucks towards the net, and the Flags eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. Mooretown also had goals scored by Andrew Sokol, who had two and Mike Burns and Dan Lumley, who each put in one. More assists for Mooretown came via Travis Mullen, who had one and Riley Roberts, who had three. The Blades were led by Tyler Clarke, who scored the team's only goal. Clarke scored on the power play 4:58 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Mooretown. Blenheim had gotten the advantage when Mooretown's Calab Harse was sent off for boarding. Justin Rossignol picked up the assist. Brandon Johnson rejected 20 shots on goal for the Flags. Mooretown incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Dylan Vanderpol made 28 saves for the Blades on 32 shots. Blenheim incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
