The Alvinston Flyers relied on the scoring touch of Kyle Cutler, who netted two goals, to beat the Kingsville Comets, 3-1. Cutler found the back of the net 18:28 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Alvinston and again while 19:31 into the third to make the score 3-1 Alvinston.Josh Moore also scored for Alvinston. Other players who recorded assists for Alvinston were Matt Carroll, Joe Archer, Dylan Lightfoot, Karsten Berg, and Jake McPhail, who each chipped in one. Kingsville was led by Tyler Kirby, who scored the team's only goal. Kirby scored 12:38 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Kingsville. Mark Sobocan provided the assist. James Morreau rejected 19 shots on goal for Alvinston. The Flyers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Nathan Crankshaw recorded 24 saves for the Comets.
