The Wallaceburg Lakers' Justin Whitson scored 4:38 into overtime to beat the Mooretown Flags, 6-5 (OT). Wallaceburg nearly gave up a two-score lead. The Lakers made it 5-3 on a goal by Bobby Domin at 16:03 in the third period. Mooretown pulled to within 5-4 on a goal by Andrew Sokol at 17:04 in the third period. In a losing effort, the Flags were sparked by Sokol, who had two goals. Sokol scored the first of his two goals at 14:21 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Wallaceburg.
